Default mxz, hard to pull over

I just bought a 95 mxz today as my birthday present to myself. and I have been going over and fixing it up.

It hasent been ran in 3 years so I pulled the plugs, oiled it up rolled it over and tryed to start it, it fires as I pull the rope but wont stay running, I noticed that when the plugs are out it is kinda hard to pull, also it has a clicking sound coming from the crank case, I dont know much about skidoo's is the clicking sound the rotory valve? or do you guys think it has a bad bearing? I have a line on an engine... just havent decided if I need it or not...
